Labor Day Sale | Pottery Barn

Labor Day Sale | Pottery Barn

I’ve been blog planning and trying to make this thing happen by “creating” things to share. But, here’s the thing, I have been going about this dream all wrong. Yeah, blogging and sharing what I love is a dream of mine. I love to write, I love to talk and connect with people of all walks via this social media world and I have been trying to make something happen in a way that wasn’t me! This is me. These are the things I do every day. Yes! I make meal plans in InDesign, I hunt for the perfect (and most affordable items) for our home. I plan our family events to bring our friends and loved ones together. I search endlessly for the healthiest cold lunch options, these are the things I love. So that’s what I need to share. What made me realize all of this? Labor Day sales. Ha! I’m serious.

Here I am putting together inspo. boards for our new house, finding really good sales while simultaneously trying to plan something to blog about. Um, what? Why?

Case in point. This homegirl truly is on a home furnishing mission. So here we go!

You guys know that feeling you get when you are at your parent’s house? It just feels “homey”, ya know?! That is literally how I feel when I walk into, well, A. my parent’s house and B. Pottery Barn. Don’t get me wrong, I have more favorites, but PBarn is up there at the top. I’m eating lunch Monday and BAM, I remember that Labor Day is in a week… then I think WOAH, we are moving soon-ish. Then I say to myself, “homegirl, you better start looking at furniture”. Which has brought me to this post.

I moseyed on into Pbarn just hoping to get some inspiration or find a good sale. Then I found the sale. Then I found all the other amazing Labor Day furniture sales at other stores (will list). Then I found the Finn chair, then I met Marla. The rest is history.

Every single thing I have ever bought from Pottery Barn, I have loved and it has lasted, proven to be timeless. If your mom buys something in the 90’s and it never became “ugly”, that my friends, is a good sign. So, when thinking about our house I knew we needed a good amount of Pbarn items. My husband on the other hand had different stores in mind, he used to build furniture, so he has some strong opinions. “Pottery Barn is so outdated”, a huge misconception that he now has 100% taken back after further research on his end, yes, furniture research. Not to mention, Pottery Barn has really upped their modern contemporary game which he quickly discovered. It’s like they took all their classic items and just revamped them a bit. In the best mod-traditional way.

There are about 100 things I would buy from Pbarn this week if I could, but I am sharing a few that I am seriously considering purchasing and with BIG thought in mind. The sale is outrageously good and probably won’t happen again until the holidays and by that time things seem to get picked over, in my opinion. Also, I need the goods before then (delivery for furniture can take months). Check it out, friends! Maybe something I am sharing will help to inspire you a little bit, if anything… get the jack-o-lantern string lights or the witches brew cauldron, your kids will love!

I rounded up my faves from the sale for Fall Time & our New House! A couple of these things I own and the others I need to own! Most of these items are 30% off, click on the links below the photos to view.
